After an 11 month wait, I
picked up my new Corvette at the dealer on November 21st,
05. (I saved $8,000 by buying the car through a
friend.) The
modifications started 5 days later with the installation of www.eliteengineeringusa.com
aluminum gas and dead pedals. (Just chop out the old
plastic pedal with wire cutters.)
Several days later,
West Coast Corvettes installed Baer Plus 14 and 13 inch drilled
2 piece brake rotors, Hawk HPS pads, chromed GM wheels, red powder
coated stock calipers & stainless pad covers.
(Before installation day, I painted the part of the rotors that
always rust with clear 1200 degree header paint to keep them
shiny.) I highly recommend www.westcoastcorvette.com
Below are pictures of the 3M Scotchguard
protective film being applied by Bill at www.transhine.com Give him
a call at (562) 693-5619 for details. He did an excellent
job of applying 3M film pieces (which were pattern-cut
by X-pel) and have a 5 year waranty. Outstanding
attention to detail! Go to www.corvetteforum.com
for tons of
great Corvette information.

("just kidding" with the grille and crashed
C6 pictures above...)
I recommend using Rejex

I also recommend www.Zainobros.com for excellent car care
products.
